Cancellation and refund policy

If you bought several things in one basket, each item follows the rule for its own type below.

Sessions (consultations, coaching and interview prep)

• Cancel or rebook with at least 48 hours' notice for a full refund or a free move to a new time
• With less than 48 hours' notice, you can rebook once for free; after that the session is charged in full
• If you don't attend without notice, the session is charged in full
• If I need to cancel, you can choose a full refund or a new time

Written services (CVs, statements, behaviours and cover letters)

• Full refund if you cancel before I start work
• Once I've started, a partial refund for the work not yet done
• No refund once the first draft is delivered, but your included round of edits is there to get it right

Bundles and mentoring

• Bundles: unused parts can be refunded at their separate price, minus any discount already received
• Monthly mentoring: cancel any time before your next billing date; the current month is not refunded

Guides, templates and practice packs

• No refunds once you've downloaded a file, because the content is delivered instantly
• If a file is faulty or won't open, I'll replace it
• If your download link expires before you've saved your files, email me and I'll send a new one

Your 14-day cancellation right

You have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of purchase. By booking a service that starts within 14 days, you're asking me to begin straight away; if you then cancel, you'll pay for any work already done. For downloads, the right to cancel ends once you agree to immediate access and your downloads are available.

How to cancel

Email info@thecivilservicecoach.com with your name and what you bought. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 working days. If you paid with Klarna, Klarna updates your payment plan.
